HOD’s Message
Message from the Desk
Mr. Umesh B D
Physical Education Director
“Physical education is an integral part of an education system. A sound mind in a sound body- Sports help the students to become fit physically, emotionally, and mentally. We, at RIT, encourage the students to involve in sports activities, as much as we encourage them in studies. The idea of sports is to make the students learn to treat both defeat and success with equanimity. It also fosters discipline, courage and leadership qualities in students. At RIT, several invitational and university sports events are conducted. The students have also participated in several inter-collegiate and university sports events and brought accolades to the institute.
