SSP Scholarship is an initiative taken by the Government of Karnataka to provide financial aid to engineering students. It offers pre-matric and post-matric scholarships to SC/ ST, Backward Classes students.

Scholarship for Engineering Students
Eligibility:
- Karnataka students studying engineering in Karnataka.
- The candidate must score at least 50% in their previous examinations.

For All Category OBC Students: (Offered by Backward Classes Welfare Department)
- Eligibility: The annual family income must not exceed 1.5 lacs.
- What do you get?: Yearly Rs.19,200 only

For SC-ST Students (Offered by Social Welfare Department)
- Students through only CET are eligible.
- Eligibility: The annual family income Rs.10,000 to 2.5 Lakhs.
- What do you get?: Yearly CET Tuition Fee only

For SC-ST Students (Offered by Department of Technical Education)
- Students through only CET are eligible.
- Eligibility: The annual family income Rs.2.5 Lakhs to10 Lakhs
- What do you get?: CET Tuition fee of that academic year

Scholarship for Minority students
- The annual family income must not exceed 1.5 lakhs.

- Applicable only for children of daily wages workers
- The annual family income must not exceed 01 lakh.

- Only for students who represented in District/State Level Competitions
- The annual family income must not exceed 1.5 lakh.
